Raffle to support Fantastic Fiction at KGB Reading Series

Ellen Datlow and Matthew Kressel, co-hosts of New York City’s monthly sf reading series Fantastic Fiction at KGB, are holding a raffle to help support the free reading series (which takes place on the third Wednesday of each month in the KGB Bar, see our list of upcoming readings for future events). Along with raffle consultant Mary Robinette Kowal, they’ll be selling $1 raffle tickets from 14 to 28 July 2008. All proceeds will go to support the reading series. Prizes have been donated by artists, writers, and other professionals, and are fully detailed on http://www.kgbfantasticfiction.org/store. Some of the highlights include:
* a story in a bottle by Michael Swanwick
* Tuckerizations by Lucius Shepard, Jeffrey Ford, and Elizabeth Hand
* a drawing by Gahan Wilson
* art by Tom Canty and John Picacio
* signed first editions and advance reading copies
* manuscript critiques by Ellen Datlow, Gardner Dozois, and Nancy Kress
* and many more
You may buy as many tickets as you want for each item you’re interested in. The drawings will be held at midnight on 28 July, and prizes will be mailed to winners.
