Circlet Press is launching a new series of erotic e-books of all original stories. They’re open for short story submissions of erotic sf and fantasy, and paying $25 per story with an additional $25 for any book that goes into print.
Publisher Cecilia Tan has detailed submission guidelines on this page. The reading period ends 15 July 2008, and “all stories for ebook publication must conform to the same standards of quality and sensuality as in all Circlet’s print books,” which means, in part true science fiction or fantasy stories with true erotic content.
Some of the new series include:
Like a Sword: erotic high fantasy
Like Crimson Droplets: modern-day vampire stories (alternate sexuality welcome)
Like a Shadow: erotic dark fantasy stories (but not vampires), including incubi, succubi, and werewolves
Like the Kiss of Fate: erotic stories with a Tarot card theme (an actual reading need not be present in the story)
Like a Wisp of Steam: erotic steampunk
Up for Grabs: an anthology of erotic futures where gender is up for grabs (strictly science fiction)
