Dean Koontz‘s “Odd Thomas” returns in Odd Hours, which Bantam Spectra will be publishing in hardcover on 20 May. Odd Thomas is a fry cook who sees dead people: “spirits of the departed who, each for his own reason, will not move on from this world. Some are drawn to him for justice, if they were murdered, or for comfort, or for companionship; others seek him out for motives that he cannot always understand.”
To whet your appetite for the book, they’ve produced a four-part mini-movie (about 16 minutes total) entitled “Odd Passenger,” which is available on YouTube. Set between Brother Odd and the new book, Part 1 is at this link, where there are also links to the other parts of the movie, a trailer for the book, an interview with Koontz, and an interview with Trixie Koontz, the dog.
