The Time Traveler Show’s Arthur C. Clarke tribute now available

The Time Traveler Show podcast’s newest episode (#26) is a tribute to Arthur C. Clarke. The centerpiece is Clarke’s story “The Hammer of God,” read by Audie- and Golden Voice-award winner Scott Brick with Gabrielle de Cuir. Brick also wrote the screenplay for the Revelations Production movie Rendezvous with Rama, which is based on Clarke’s novel. Brick and visual designer Dean McCreary talk about the Arthur C. Clarke gala they attended at the Playboy mansion in 2001.
In addition, the program has a recording of Clarke from 1965: the speech he gave at the Hugo Award banquet called “How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Learned to Love Stanley Kubrick.” In the speech, recorded three years before the release of 2001: A Space Odyssey, Clarke spoke about the development of the film and working with Kubrick. At the same ceremony, Kubrick won the Hugo for Dr. Strangelove.
