Amazon.com has decided that April is Science Fiction Month, and to “celebrate”, they’re offering several hundred DVDs and DVD sets at half off (lots of Star Trek, Star Wars, and sf classics), 120 books available at “4-for-3” (again, lots of media tie-ins), as well as toys (Transformers and more), and several “gadgets.”
They’re also offering downloads of more than 100 television programs, at $1.99 per episode. The offerings range from current shows such as Battlestar Galactica and Heroes to classics such as Lost in Space and The Greatest American Hero.
