Alexis Gilliland launches web site for his cartoons

Writer, fan, and cartoonist Alexis Gilliland and his wife, Lee, announced the launch of his new web site, www.alexisgilliland.com at a party at this weekend’s Lunacon (review of the convention is forthcoming). The site will host Gilliland’s thousand of cartoons drawn over the years (and which he continues to draw at the drop of a suggestion) to this day. At the moment, two sections are populated, but the main page lists about 20 categories into which the cartoons will be sorted and published.
Gilliland was the winner of the 2006 Rotsler Award, for “long-time wonder-working with graphic art in amateur publications of the science fiction community.” He has, at various times, been president, vice president, trustee, and convention chairman of the Washington Science Fiction Association.
Gilliland also won the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer in 1982, and the Hugo Award for Best Fan Artist in 1980, 1983, 1984, and 1985.
