Catherine Asaro, Chairman of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America‘s Election Committee, announced the list of nominees for office in this year’s election. The members, and the offices they’re running for, are:
for President: Andrew Burt and Russell Davis
for Vice President: Elizabeth Moon
for Treasurer: Amy Casil
for Secretary: Mary Robinette Kowal and Lee Martindale
for Eastern Regional Director: Bud Sparhawk
for Overseas Regional Director: Ian Waites
Burt is the current Vice President. Davis is presently the Western Regional Director. Sparhawk is the incumbent Eastern Regional Director, having been appointed to the post last Summer, following Diane Turnshek’s resignation.
Active members will receive ballots and candidates’ statements in the coming weeks. The new officers take office on 1 July.
