Issue #34 of the Irish speculative fiction magazine, Albedo 1, is now available. It’s subtitled “Things Change.”
Co-editor Frank Ludlow notes that “this issue features new fiction from Bill Eakin (who’s had stories published in the likes of F&SF), Phil Raines, Harvey Welles, and others. The ‘others’ of course include the top three short-listed stories as chosen by Ian Watson from the Aeon Award 2006-2007 contest. The winner was Nina Allan with her story ‘Angelus’. We’ve also got an interview by Bob Neilson with Raymond E. Feist, and more book reviews by fantasy author Juliet E. McKenna and by Andrew McKenna.”
