The fourth issue of Farrago’s Wainscot is now live. This issue features fiction by Forrest Aguirre (“Clover”), Michael Jasper (“Gunning for the Buddha”), Yoon Ha Lee (“Notes on the Necromantic Symphony”), Timothy S. Miller (“The Miraculous Nature of Everything”), and Jenn Reese (“Memree”). It also features poetry by Mark Cox and Lise Goett, as well an article on experimental wordforms, entitled “Verbs (Enron) to letter order (abstemious)” by Richard Lederer, and the tenth installment of Mark Teppo’s serial hypertext novel The Oneiromantic Mosaic of Harry Potemkin. Artists and photographers in this issue include Jay Lake, Rick Bowes, Peter Schwartz, Neal Von Flue, and Dawn Von Flue.
The publication styles itself “an exhibition of weirds, an almanac of experimentation, decay, and the problems with form.” It is available for free, though a donation is requested. The next issue is scheduled to appear 1 January 2008.
