The New York chapter of the National Space Society (NSS-NYC)’s monthly meeting will be 8 September at New York University. The meeting will start with a brief talk by Chapter President Harold Egeln about the movie In the Shadow of the Moon (see our review), followed by a walk to a nearby theater to see the movie, and then a group dinner afterwards.
Details: the meeting will begin promptly at 3:45PM at NYU’s Silver Center for the Arts & Sciences, 32 Waverly Place, Room 408. At 4:30, they’ll leave to head to the Landmark’s Sunshine Cinema on East Houston Street for the regular 5:30 public showing (pay your own admission). After the movie (around 7:30) they plan to go to the Moonstruck Diner on Second Avenue to discuss the movie.
