The Telegraph is reporting that Professor Ulf Leonhardt and Dr. Thomas Philbin, of the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, have discovered a way to reverse the Casimir effect (which acts somewhat like friction or gravity on very small scales for atoms and molecules).
