Reader’s Paradise Bookstore, in Cape Town, South Africa, is running a promotion during August and September, in an attempt to introduce new readers to fantasy and science fiction. During “Fantasy Feast,” they’ll be stocking more fantasy and science fiction titles than usual, and books by any of 40 authors will include a signed bookplate. In addition, they’ll be having a raffle for authographed books and other interesting stuff.
Every fantasy or science fiction book purchased will get the buyer an entry into the raffle. Prizes include signed books by Terry Brooks, Tad Williams, L.E. Modesitt, Jr., and South African author Greg Hamerton, as well DVDs, magazine subscriptions, and gift certificates.
