Lon Prater sold “Something to Hold the Door Closed” to upcoming anthology Frontier Cthulhu, which will be published by Chaosium. Prater says the anthology will be H.P. Lovecraft-influenced tales set in Colonial, Frontier, and Wild West America. “My story uses the little known North Carolina Gold Rush of 1800 as a jumping off point. It was without a doubt the most fun I’ve had researching a story in some time.”
He also sold a poem entitled “Good Housekeeping” to Fear and Trembling, which is “the only site dedicated to publishing original Christian horror on the web (as far as we know).”
