The IndyFilm Coop and Cinema of Franklin, Indiana, is hosting “The ‘B’ Movie Celebration” 17-19 August 2007. The “All Movie” pass, which gives admission to all 41 films showing in four different theatres, is available for $49 (tickets for any single movie are $6 each). The “All In Pass,” which includes all movies, all events, and all educational seminars, is $119.
Special guests, who will be appearing at program items, include Lloyd Kaufman (founder of Troma Studio), director Jim Wynorski, special effects and make-up master Tom Savini, and actor Conrad Brooks.
The films showing at the B Movie Celebration include:
Films of the 1930s and ’40s: Bride of Frankenstein, Cat People, Detour, Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe, Terror of Tiny Town, and White Zombie.
Films of the 1950s and ’60s: Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, Barbarella, The Blob, The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Devil Rides Out, The Fall of the House of Usher, The Fly, Forbidden Planet, House on Haunted Hill, I Married a Monster, I Was a Teenage Werewolf, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Man from Planet X, Night of the Living Dead, Plan 9 from Outer Space, and The Thing.
