Susan Wright sold two novels to Liz Scheier at Roc via agent Lucienne Diver of the Spectrum Literary Agency. The first, Confessions of a Demon is “an erotic urban fantasy set in NYC. Allay, a human/demon hybrid, encounters the oldest demon in the world who’s spent thousands of years stalking the worst elements of the demon subculture. Sparks fly and deep intrigues are brewing.” It should be out in late 2008.
The second, Demon Wars, is “a stand-alone novel that takes place in the same universe. Hope, Allay’s offspring, must learn to live in the demon subculture that’s been thrown into turmoil while falling in love with the wounded hero.”
Talking about this phase of her career, Wright says “the urban fantasy/paranormal romance categories are so hot and right for me.”
