John Joseph Adams sold reprint anthology Wastelands to Night Shade Books, which will release the book this summer. According to the book’s web page, Wastelands is a “new post-apocalyptic reprint anthology… containing stories that go beyond the ‘wandering,’ ‘scrounging,’ and ‘defending.’ What you will find here are tales of life in the aftermath; tales of survivors, yes—but tales that also explore what scientific, psychological, sociological, and physiological changes will take place in the wake of the apocalypse.” Adams is also the assistant editor of The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction.
