Fan to Swim the English Channel

British fan and Concatenation team member Tony Bailey (pictured at right with his sister-in-law in a publicity photo) is planning to swim the English Channel for charity. His swim is planned for sometime between 20 and 20 July 2007.
Bailey is trying to raise funds for three charities: Barnardo’s children’s fund, the British Heart Foundation, and the Marie Curie Cancer Care. His goal is to raise £18,000, and as of press time, his web site says he’s up to £1,889.60.
For more information, to donate, or to participate in some other way, see Bailey’s web site.
Some of his previous fundraising stunts included a London-to-Cambridge bike ride, a parachute jump, and rappeling down the side of a London skyscraper.
