Due to “corporate re-shuffling,” Jim Minz is no longer an editor at Del Rey, effective Friday 23 March. Minz said “While this kind of corporate re-shuffling can be a bit disconcerting, in truth, Scott Shannon has handled it with a lot of class, and I sincerely wish Ballantine and Del Rey nothing but the very best. These two imprints, namesakes of true publishing giants, will continue to be vibrant, vital members of the publishing community, and I look forward to watching what the future holds for them.”
He added, “I can’t tell you exactly what the future holds for me just yet, but I’m sure you’ll be hearing about it sooner or later.”
