Mark Charan Newton’s first two fantasy novels sell in Germany

Mark Charan Newton sold German rights to two fantasy novels to Volker Busch at VGS Egmont. Pan Macmillan’s Rights Manager Jon Mitchell handled the deal (Newton’s agent John Jarrold originally sold world rights in the books to Julie Crisp at Pan Macmillan). Busch said the titles will be published under Egmont’s Lyx imprint.
The books in the deal, Nights of Villjamur and City of Ruin, were first published by Macmillan Tor UK in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Lyx expects to publish the first late next year.
