Diana Pharaoh Francis sold books three and four in the Horngate Witches series to Jennifer Heddle at Pocket Books. Agent Lucienne Diver negotiated the "nice deal". In book three, which will be called Shadow City, "the apocalypse of magic has destroyed most of humanity and magical creatures of every stripe are crawling out of the woodwork to take back the world. Horngate is the only independent covenstead that remains. Vastly outpowered, they fight to survive against both human and magical enemies. If only their friends weren't trying to kill them too.…"
The first book in the series, Bitter Night, was released at the end of last October.
YES! YES! YES! I am sooo looking forward to these books! WOOHOO!!! I am excited to read them as I really liked Bitter Nights and can hardly wait patiently for book two...now three and four! Thank you!!! :)
Oh my god that was fantastick!!! Bitter Night was one of my favorite books of all time!! Whats the next book called? Max reminds me of one of my other favorite books friom patrica briggs and her character Mercy!! I loove them!!
That is really great news. I do read a bit of urban fantasy, but there may be 2-3 books per year that I really love. Bitter Night was one of those. I'm so glad there are more coming in this series.
Very glad that you will write two more Horngate Novels. I just finished Crimson Wind and cannot wait to find out what happens with Max, Alexander and Scooter.
Fantastic books! Just finished the second book "Crimson Wind" loved the book, can hardly wait for the third book to come out. Great characters that you really want to love. Hurry up and get the next one out, can't wait to read!
