Jaine Fenn sells two new novels to Gollancz, changes her name

By Ian Randal Strock

Jaine Fenn sold two novels to Associate Publisher Jo Fletcher at Gollancz. The deal, for world rights, was negotiated by agent John Jarrold. The two novels, Bringer of Light and Queen of Nowhere, are scheduled for delivery in 2010 and 2011, respectively. They'll be published under the name J.N. Fenn, "as will all the author's future novels," according to Jarrold.

Gollancz published Fenn's first novel, Principles of Angels, in 2008. Consorts of Heaven appeared this year, and Guardians of Paradise is scheduled to be published next year.
