Jon Sprunk's forthcoming fantasy trilogy sells in UK and France

By Ian Randal Strock

Jon Sprunk's debut fantasy trilogy is selling overseas. Agent Eddie Schneider of JABberwocky Literary Agency sold French rights to Bragelonne, while Gretchen Kurtz (Rights Director of Pyr's parent Prometheus Books) sold UK rights to Gollancz.

Editor Lou Anders of Pyr, who will be publishing the books in the US starting next summer, offers this "quick tease" of the first novel, Shadow's Son: "In the holy city of Othir , treachery and corruption lurk at the end of every street, just the place for a freelance assassin with no loyalties and few scruples."

The second and third volumes in the series will be called Shadow's Lure and Shadow's Master.
