The December 2008 episode of Orthopedic Horseshoes, entitled "The Rover's Studded Sand Tires", has been posted in dialup and broadband at www.thinktwiceradio.com/kauderer/kauderer.html. The sf talk radio program features several interviews, including one with scientist/author Diane Turnshek talking about young writers, first conventions, and bad singing. Co-hosts Alan Katerinsky and Herb Kauderer interview with Nebula- and World Fantasy Award winner James Morrow covers epiphenomenon, really cool titles, and Morrow's The Philosopher's Apprentice and The Last Witchfinder. They also talk with poets and award-winning fiction writers Mary Turzillo and Geoffrey A. Landis. The program also covers "the nature of thought, Marvin Minsky, Joyce, Beckett, David Ives, rocket science, and fond memories of Hal Clement."
The November issue of the program (which we apparently missed), has been archived at orthohorseshoes.mypodcast.com.
