At 9, Slattery will start "rocking the book"—that is, "doing a reading while backed by no less than five talented musicians. Later in the evening (10:30ish) John Pinamonti will follow with a set of his own music."
And echoing his party last year, Slattery says "we will be having another non-standard potluck, for which you are encouraged to bring an exotic edible to share with other guests. Participation is not mandatory, but it will be delicious. A representative from the excellent Freebird Books will also be on hand selling copies of Liberation."
