The 2009 World Fantasy Convention is announcing a date change, "due to a scheduling conflict with the hotel." The convention, to be held in San José, California, is moving up one week, to Thursday 29 October-Sunday 1 November 2009 (the previously announced dates were 5-8 November). Everything else about the convention remains undchanged, but they are offering membership refunds to those who've already purchased memberships but can't make the new dates. Memberships for the 2009 WFC are $100, though the rate will increase after 10 November 2008 to $125.
