Keith R.A. DeCandido reports that the first issue of the recently revived The Chronic Rift, the podcast, is now available. The two hour episode, titled "What is the Rift?" introduces what is planned to be a monthly discussion show about the fields of sf. It includes book, DVD, TV, comic book, and videogame reviews, as well as "Bringing it to the Table," wherein podcast producer John S. Drew, Judy Furnari, Orenthal Hawkins, and Andrea Lipinski reminisce about the old public access TV show and ruminate on what they expect the future of the Rift will be.
The podcast is available from the show's own web site, from podOmatic, and from iTunes (where it's currently listed as "thechronicrift" with no spaces.
