Orthopedic Horseshoes interviews James Alan Gardner

By Ian Randal Strock

The August 2008 episode of Orthopedic Horseshoes, entitled "Growing Up as Part of Losing Your Originality", has been posted in dialup and broadband at: http://www.thinktwiceradio.com/kauderer/kauderer.html. The sf talk radio program features an interview/discussion with SF writer James Alan Gardner, who is a two-time winner of the Aurora Award, and a past Hugo and Nebula nominee.

Hosts Herb Kauderer and Alan Katerinsky talk with Gardner about multiple intelligences, kinesthetic learning, the Forbes richest list, brain function and braintech, Persinger & the god engine, electro-pharmacology, bellum pater omnia, Wayne Gretzky, robber barons, functional MRI, and lining up for a religious experience.

Kauderer also writes that the July 2008 episode, "The Devil is in the Details", has now been archived at http://orthohorseshoes.mypodcast.com. That show features a discussion with horror writer Edo van Belkom, winner of the Stoker Award, the Aurora Award, and the Silver Birch Award.
