Editors D.L. Snell and Bobbie Metevier are reading for the reprint anthology Best New Tales of the Apocalypse, which Permuted Press will be publishing either late this year or early next. They're looking only at material published in 2007, and are "interested in short stories and novellas [maximum 25,000 words] from all genres—horror, science fiction, mystery, romance, etc.—which feature an impending apocalypse, occurrence of the apocalypse, or a post-apocalyptic setting."
Submission deadline is 1 June 2008, and they'll be paying one cent per word. For more details, see this page.
