 Graphic novel and comics publisher BOOM! Studios is throwing an open holiday party, and everyone is invited. They note that, "this past year at San Diego ComicCon, BOOM! was proud to be the only publisher that had a totally open party. Celebrating our two year anniversary, it was at this party where BOOM! fans and BOOM! pros got to meet and mingle. No private, invite only, guest list, high-falutin' party for us! This is BOOM! Studios.
"Sadly, we were not able to offer free beer."
They're correcting the "no free beer" oversight with their own, open Holiday Party on Wednesday 12 December.
"You are invited to our holiday party this coming Wednesday. We couldn't have made BOOM! a success without our friends and fans, so come and help us celebrate another successful year. Most importantly—free beer. So be there or be square!" The party will be at Meltdown Comics, 7522 Sunset Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90046.
