French writer Patrice Duvic dies

French author, anthologist, and critic Patrice Duvic died on 25 February 2007. Born 11 January 1946, he’s probably best known in the US for having interviewed Philip K. Dick (he interviewed US sf writers in the French magazine Galaxie in the early 1970s). He also worked as an editor for French publishers Denoël and Presses Pocket.
His novels include Poisson-Pilote, Naissez, nous ferons le rest, Terminus, and Autant en emporte le divan. He published the short story “The Eyes on Butterflies’ Wings” in Omni‘s March 1979 issue. He also co-wrote and directed the film Vampirisme in 1967 and co-wrote the film Terminus in 1987 (his novel was the novelization of the film).
